Heavy rainfall occurred overnight, followed by lighter rainfall across the catchment this morning until 1400hrs. Since that time, 3mm has been recorded at Upper Bond Springs and nil in all other gauging stations.
The water level at Anzac Oval (Todd River) is currently 2.1 m and falling, after peaking at 2.96 m recorded at 0700 hrs.
Wigley Gorge (Todd River) is currently 1.8m and falling after a second peak at 2.75m at 0950 hrs.
Big Dipper (Charles River) is currently 1.08m and falling after peaking at 2.37 m at 0520 hrs.
Bond Springs (Todd River) is currently 1.12m, slightly over the preliminary watch point level of 1.04m.
Forecast scenarios
If rain falls over the entire catchment in a 2 hours period with up to:
20 mm of rainfall: Water level at Anzac Oval is forecast to remain in Category B (<2.6 m) until tomorrow morning.40 mm of rainfall: Water level at Anzac Oval may rise to Category C, peaking at approximately 2.9 m at 2200hrs tonight.
