Florida Students to Speak with First Cuban-American Astronaut on Space Station

Elementary school students from Florida will talk live this week with the first Cuban-American astronaut to live and work aboard theInternational Space Station. The Earth-to-space call will air live on NASA Television and the agencyswebsite.

NASA astronautSerena Aun-Chancellorwill answer questions from students at The Mandelstam School in South Miami at 11:45 a.m. EST Friday, Dec. 7. Students and staff from St. Thomas Episcopal School, which is also in South Miami, will attend. The diverse classes include Cuban-American students.
