Four Hospitalized After Colo Heights Crash

Two children and two adults have been taken to hospital after a single vehicle crash in Sydney's northwest this morning.

About 10.15am (Saturday 18 July 2026), emergency services were called to Putty Road, near Barina Drive, Colo Heights, following reports a car had crashed.

Officers attached to Hawkesbury Police Area Command attended and found that a Toyota Kluger had crashed into a tree.

Three children in the car – aged four, seven and eight – were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before the seven-year-old boy was airlifted with a shoulder injury, and the four-year-old boy was taken by road with a head injury to The Children's Hospital in Westmead in stable conditions.

The eight-year-old was assessed by NSW Ambulance paramedics but did not require further treatment.

The driver – a 35-year-old woman – was treated at the scene for minor abdominal and chest injuries and transported to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.

The front passenger – a 40-year-old man – was treated at the scene for back injuries and transported to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.

Police have commenced an investigation into the cause of the crash.
