Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Frederick Williams.
The 29-year-old is wanted on warrant for assault and theft related offences
Williams is described as African in appearance, 185cm tall, of medium build, with brown eyes and dark hair.
He is known to frequent the Fitzroy and Brunswick areas.
Investigators have released an image of Williams in the hope someone may have information on his current whereabouts.
