This month, local small business owners can attend a free workshop run by experienced business leader Gabrielle Browne. The topic is "Smart ways to use AI in business". The workshop will be held at the Shellharbour Civic Centre on Thursday 29 May from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.
Business owners will learn simple and useful ways to use artificial intelligence (AI) in their business. This includes saving time by automating everyday tasks and better understanding what customers want. These tools can help businesses cut costs and make better decisions.
Shellharbour Mayor Chris Homer is encouraging local businesses to come along and take advantage of the free support on offer.
"This is a great chance for small businesses in our region to learn new skills and get expert advice." Mayor Homer said.
"We want our local businesses to succeed, and Council is proud to support them through programs like this."
As well as the workshop, small business owners can book a free Business Health Check. These one-on-one sessions are open to anyone with an established business, a new business, or even just a business idea.
The sessions are designed to help business owners ask questions, spot opportunities, and avoid potential issues, to help businesses plan and thrive.
