School is out and the fun is on with more than 280 activities being delivered over the next two weeks, thanks to the Territory Labor Government's holiday grants programs.
Spread across the Territory are events as diverse as learning make-up skills or boxing classes, ready to keep holidaying youngsters and their families entertained.
Territory Labor is investing $2.18 million through the Office of Youth Affairs this year to ensure families can get the most out of the school break - keeping children active and developing their social networks and skills.
Other skills they can grow during these holidays include learning how to fix their bike, hints for successful recycling, indigenous arts, and a favourite for the grooviest in town - tie dyeing!
For those in Katherine who are feeling flexible or who just love clowning around, there are even circus workshops.
Other regional highlights include movies, dance, and basketball among 30 activities in East Arnhem and Gove Peninsula.
Among 85 different activities in Alice Springs are robotics and Lego sessions at the Library, and free rock wall sessions.
Tennant Creek is getting slippery with a slime day and getting down with disco nights, among other events.
Ceramic workshops are part of a packed program of activities in Palmerston, where the Recreation Centre and the Water Park are hosting a range of activities.
While in Darwin, the geeks become chic when it comes to TROPiCON on 1 October. The SHAK will also be delivering their usual awesome program of events at Sanderson Middle School.
