An exciting opportunity is on the horizon for event organisers in the Territory, with applications set to open on Monday for Round 1 of the 2022-2023 Northern Territory Major Events Company (NTMEC) Event Funding Program.
Multiple-year funding is now available across all four categories - Community Event Funding, Event Development Funding, Mass Participation Event Funding and Major Event Funding.
This offers additional certainty for event organisers, allowing them to better plan for the future and the longevity of their event, as well as reducing administration times and costs.
The program helps grow and develop the Territory's events sector, and has created significant benefits for the Territory by increasing the quality and frequency of festivals and events, upskilling the local industry, and attracting interstate visitors to the NT.
