The Futsalroos' path to the AFC Futsal Asian Cup™ 2026 has been confirmed, following a draw conducted at the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Thursday.
Australia is aiming to qualify for the tournament for the eighth time, having made a long-awaited return to the continental stage in 2024 after an eight-year absence.
A total of 31 teams were drawn into eight groups with the top-placed team of each group and the seven best-ranked runners-up joining hosts Indonesia at the 18th edition of the Futsal Asian Cup, which is scheduled to commence next January.
The Futsalroos have been drawn into Group A alongside Hosts Kuwait, Mongolia and India. The four-team group will contest the qualifiers in Kuwait from September 20 to 24 this year.
