Orange City Council has secured funding from the NSW Government to support two of its most popular cultural facilities over the next two years.
Orange Regional Museum will receive $160,000 per year and Orange Regional Gallery will receive $75,000 per year from Create NSW through its 2-Year Multi-Year Funding program.

Orange Regional Museum
The grants will support the delivery of exhibitions, public programs, and community engagement initiatives.
Orange City Council's Recreation and Culture Policy Committee Chair, Cr Tammy Greenhalgh welcomed the government support.
"This funding is vital in supporting our local cultural facilities to continue to offer innovative and inclusive programming that reflects the diversity and creativity of our community," Cr Greenhalgh said.
"It recognises the important contribution these state-of-the-art facilities make to the cultural life of the city and the region. It's a fantastic outcome for Orange and the Central West."
Create NSW's Multi-Year Funding program is designed to provide long-term support to arts and cultural organisations, and audiences, across the state.
Orange Regional Gallery will use the funding to deliver an ambitious program designed to inspire, enrich and connect people of all ages and abilities through the power of art, continuing its established reputation as a centre for art in the Central West.

Orange Regional Gallery
As it approaches its 40th anniversary in 2026, the gallery will deliver meaningful experiences and wellbeing through its exhibitions, programs and nationally significant collection. It will also support local, regional and national artists.
The funding will support Orange Regional Museum's program of high-quality touring exhibitions and innovative new exhibitions about local and regional history and culture, as well as extensive engagement and education activities, and collection projects.
It will support the Museum to deliver a new permanent exhibition in 2026, which will transform the exhibition space, offering interactive experiences alongside local objects and stories to explore our shared history on Wiradjuri Country.
The funding will also support the work of the Museums and Heritage unit, which works with community-run collection organisations across the region to care for culturally significant material.
Orange City Council is proud to receive this support and looks forward to delivering inspiring programs that celebrate creativity, community, and culture across regional NSW.
