The Crisafulli Government is celebrating Queensland's youngest residents and their families with the latest G'day Little Queenslanders event on the Gold Coast.
The free, family-friendly events are all about bringing together the State's youngest residents and their families, for a morning of fun, laughter, and activities including everyone's favourite heelers, Bluey and Bingo.
The event at Greenheart Robina Parklands in Robina on September 27, will feature live children's entertainment and activities including the Live Interactive Experience with Bluey and Bingo, food trucks, and government services.
It's just one of the ways the Crisafulli Government is delivering a fresh start and a plan for Queensland's future, while also ensuring parents have access to the must-know government resources and local services.
Parents can also register their children aged 0–2 years to receive a personalised certificate at the event and the first 200 little Queenslanders to arrive at the event will receive a free kids' bucket hat.
Premier David Crisafulli said G'day Little Queenslanders events brought local families together to celebrate our newest Queenslanders.
"G'day Little Queenslanders is about celebrating life's early milestones for our youngest Queenslanders, bringing the community together," Premier Crisafulli said.
"It's a great opportunity for people from the Gold Coast and surrounds to connect with a wide range of supports available, including government resources and health services.
"These events are being held in communities across Queensland so every family, no matter where they live, can feel supported and connected while celebrating their little ones."
Member for Mudgeeraba Ros Bates said the G'day Little Queenslanders was a great initiative for families to gather and get to know their community.
"They may not realise it just yet, but these Little Queenslanders are the luckiest in the State because they'll grow up calling the Gold Coast home, and I can't wait to say G'day to our newest community members," Ms Bates said.
Member for Bonney Sam O'Connor said it was fantastic that we are bringing the Gold Coast community together to celebrate our newest Queenslanders.
"It's exciting to have G'day Little Queenslanders coming to the Gold Coast, giving local families a chance to come together for a fun morning while they connect with local services and supports from across our community," Mr O'Connor said.
"And the best part is Gold Coasters will get to shake paws with Bluey and Bingo."
Member for Currumbin Laura Gerber said every parent, grandparent, and carer across the Gold Coast was encouraged to bring their little ones along to the event.
"As a local mum, I know how important it is for parents to feel connected to their community and to know what support is available to them, particularly in those early years and it's fantastic to have an event like this coming to the Southern Gold Coast," Ms Gerber said.
Member for Burleigh Hermann Vorster said G'day Little Queenslanders would be a fantastic free morning out for local families.
"G'day Little Queenslanders will be a fantastic free morning out for our youngest Queenslanders and a great opportunity for families to build new friendships," Mr Vorster said.
"It will also connect young families and new Gold Coasters with local services and a supportive community during one of the most important stages of their lives."
