The Crisafulli Government is celebrating Queensland's youngest residents and their families with the latest G'day Little Queenslanders event in Ipswich.
The free, family-friendly events are all about bringing together the State's youngest residents and their families, for a morning of fun, laughter, and activities including everyone's favourite heelers, Bluey and Bingo.
The event at Sutton Park in Brassall on October 11, will feature live children's entertainment and activities including the Live Interactive Experience with Bluey and Bingo, food trucks, and welcoming spaces to relax and connect.
It's just one of the ways the Crisafulli Government is delivering a fresh start and a plan for Queensland's future, while also ensuring parents have access to the must-know government resources and local services.
Parents can also register their children aged 0–2 years to receive a personalised certificate at the event and the first 200 little Queenslanders to arrive at the event will receive a free kids' bucket hat.
Premier David Crisafulli said each of the G'day Little Queenslanders events had a strong local focus.
"G'day Little Queenslanders is about celebrating life's early milestones for our youngest Queenslanders, bringing families together and building community connections," Premier Crisafulli said.
"It's a great opportunity for people from Ipswich and surrounds to connect with a wide range of supports available, including government resources and health services.
"These events are being held in communities across the State so every family, no matter where they live in Queensland, can feel supported while celebrating their little ones."
Member for Scenic Rim Jon Krause said it was exciting to see the State's youngest Queenslanders come together, connect with their peers, and engage in a fun family day.
"This event is yet another way that we're supporting families and young people in the community, providing them with alternative ways to build connection and develop our young people's social skills," Mr Krause said.
Member for Moggill Dr Christian Rowan said G'day Little Queenslanders would be a wonderful opportunity for young families from across Greater Brisbane and Ipswich to come together, celebrate and connect.
"Bringing families together and helping them connect with local services and support is an important investment in the wellbeing of our youngest Queenslanders and their parents," Dr Rowan said.
"With Bluey and Bingo, entertainment and plenty of activities on offer, it promises to be a fantastic morning for families from right across Brisbane's western suburbs."
