Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Georgina (near Geraldton) today, Tuesday 31 January 2023.
About 12.20pm, a blue Holden Commodore station sedan towing a trailer, was travelling north on Edward Road near Georgina Road. The vehicle left the carriageway and struck a water pipeline that runs parallel to the road.
The 55-year-old male driver, and sole occupant of the vehicle, sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.
