Girl Charged After Spate Of Offending In Mildura

Mildura Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a teenage girl following a series of burglaries, theft from motor vehicles and a home invasion in Mildura.

Police will allege the girl, along with other offenders, attended numerous addresses on Deakin Avenue and Primrose Drive in the early hours of Sunday, 9 August.

After locating a key fob in a vehicle on Primrose Drive, it is understood the girl allegedly entered a nearby residence.

It is further alleged the group attempted to steal another vehicle from Primrose Drive, before they were confronted by a resident.

Yesterday, detectives arrested a 15-year-old girl from the Mildura area.

She was interviewed in relation to the incidents, and has been charged with home invasion, burglary, handle stolen goods, attempted theft from motor vehicle and bail offences.

The girl will appear before a children's court today.

The investigation remains ongoing.
