The Warm Water Pool temperature in the indoor pool complex at the Goulburn Aquatic and Leisure Centre was affected by a malfunction with the boilers. A 31-degree Celsius temperature was being recorded; this was four degrees below the normal operating temperature.
The two other indoor pools were operating two degrees below normal operating temperatures.
The issues have now been addressed by technicians, and Council has recorded an average temperature of approximately 34-degrees in the warm water pool, as a result all pools are now back to full operation.
If the community has any concerns regarding the pool temperatures, please do not hesitate to speak to the staff at the Goulburn Aquatic and Leisure Centre.
