Goulburn escapee arrested in Seven Hills

Police have arrested a man who escaped from a minimum-security correctional facility in Goulburn on Friday, NSW Police say.

Officers from The Hume Police District were informed about 1.30pm (Friday 5 October 2018), that the 37-year-old man had left the facility in Maud Street.

He was arrested by officers attached to Blacktown Police Area Command at a home on Bulah Way, Seven Hills, about 1.40am today (Sunday 7 October 2018).

He’s been charged with escape from lawful custody and will appear in Parramatta Bail Court today.
