The Port Douglas Gran Fondo Festival will be held 9-11 September.
There will be a number of road closures in place between Port Douglas and Palm Cove on Sunday 11 September.
These include:
- The Captain Cook Highway will be closed in both directions between Palm Cove Boulevard and Port Douglas Rd from 5.30am to 1:30pm
- Captain Cook Highway will open between Palm Cove and Wangetti in both directions at 11.30am, but the Captain Cook Highway from Wangetti to Port Douglas will remain closed until 1:30pm
- Captain Cook Highway will be fully closed between Wangetti Beach Rd and Port Douglas Rd from 6am to 1.30pm
- Williams Esplanade Palm Cove will be closed between Cedar Rd and Veivers Rd, from 6am to 10.30am. Resident access will be maintained via Veivers Rd.
