Toyota City, Japan, January 15, 2026―The TOYOTA GROUP will hold a special exhibition featuring 15 sculptures that embody French cultural heritage and master craftsmanship from January 22 to March 31, 2026 at THE MOVEUM YOKOHAMA by TOYOTA GROUP*1 ("THE MOVEUM YOKOHAMA"), an immersive museum currently open at Yamashita Pier Shed No. 4, Yokohama, Kanagawa.
The TOYOTA GROUP will hold the special exhibition Grand Palais Atelier de Moulage: Captivating Master Sculptures―Coup de Foudre (Love at First Sight) at THE MOVEUM YOKOHAMA, currently open at Yamashita Pier. The exhibition is inspired by the history of French culture and the masterful skill of artists who pursued tradition and innovation.
The exhibition features replicas of cultural heritage sculptures that blend seamlessly with the harbor view, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the works and experience the artists' perspective firsthand. A total of 15 works will be exhibited in Yokohama, including four large-scale replica sculptures previously displayed at the France Pavilion during Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan as well as 11 important works spanning from ancient Greece to the modern 20th century.
At the venue, 12 sculptures will be displayed at any given time, with exhibits rotated throughout the exhibition period.
As a mobility company that supports society, the TOYOTA GROUP does not simply provide means of transportation; rather, it aims to "move" people emotionally by drawing close to their hearts and bringing them happiness. At the end of last year, THE MOVEUM YOKOHAMA opened in Yokohama, a city where Japanese culture meets the world and where a rich cultural life has been shaped through the continual interplay of tradition and innovation, as an art-centered cultural and educational facility.
As part of an initiative to convert the entire area of Yamashita Pier Shed No. 4 into an art space, special exhibitions and other art events will be held to help bring vibrancy to Yokohama's Yamashita Pier area. During this special exhibition, the TOYOTA GROUP will also conduct art seminars and events for local children.
In addition, the exhibitions Fin de Siècle Vienna: The Golden Age of Beauty and LISTEN. will continue to run simultaneously in the facility's theater and studio until the end of March.

Toyota's Upcycling Project
In addition, to complement this master craftsmanship, some of the artworks will be displayed on marble-like pedestals crafted using Toyota's upcycling technology and made from purging material recovered from FCEV hydrogen tanks.
GrandPalais Rmn is a public institution operating under the supervision of the French Ministry of Culture, responsible for managing works held by national museums, producing exhibitions, and promoting culture. It presents cultural heritage, including that of the Louvre Museum, both in France and internationally, and also works to promote culture through publishing activities and the operation of museum shops. It also operates a moulage workshop founded in 1794, contributing to the preservation and transmission of outstanding craftsmanship through the production of master sculpture replicas.
The Atelier de Moulage carries on the technical legacy of the Louvre Museum, which began in 1794. It is a specialized institution that meticulously reproduces the form and surface characteristics of original works based on extensive research.
This exhibition presents a collection of works that have been brought to life while faithfully respecting the design of the originals. They were created through a unique production process that blends the Atelier's exceptional traditional techniques with digital and other innovative technologies.
