Grant Round Open For Blended Payments Co-design

The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) has opened a grant round for providers to apply to take part in blended payment co-design.

The blended payments initiative is part of broader Scheme reform. It will test if there is a better payment option than the current fee-for-service model.

The initiative will design and test blended payments that increase providers' incentive to innovate service delivery and achieve improved outcomes for National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants.

We are working with the Department of Social Services (DSS) to deliver the project.

The blended payments initiative is opening two grant packages for registered providers, that will co-design blended payment options with the following focus areas:

  • Grant package 1: Providers of employment support for school leavers
  • Grant package 2: Providers of supported independent living (SIL) and those supporting younger people in residential aged care (YPIRAC)

Providers from each focus area are invited to attend an information session about the grant round (see event details below).

The grant round will close on Tuesday 9 July at 4.00pm (AEST) 2024.
