- Cook Labor Government supporting 19 Collie projects through Synergy grants
- Recipients awarded grants from $5,000 to $50,000
- Collie Small Grants program supports local jobs and community facilities
Large scale artworks, new solar batteries and technology upgrades for primary school students are among the initiatives supported by the latest round of the Collie Small Grants program.
A total of 19 community not-for-profit groups have been awarded the grants which range from $5,000 to $50,000 to support and strengthen community initiatives.
Part of the Cook Labor Government's Just Transition Plan and run by Synergy, the grants have delivered more than $312,000 to local organisations since 2019.
The initiatives supported are focused on community facilities, job creation and long-term regional resilience.

As stated by Energy and Decarbonisation Minister Amber-Jade Sanderson:
"The Cook Labor Government is proud to invest in the Collie community through Synergy's Collie Small Grants program.
"From youth activities to volunteer training, the successful projects reflect local priorities and will help strengthen connection, capability and confidence in the town.
"Through the Just Transition, our government is committed to supporting Collie to thrive into the future."

"These initiatives will deliver important community projects that will directly benefit Collie locals, while creating jobs and supporting long-term resilience.
