Grants for Multicultural Events and Projects Available Now

NT Government

6 September 2022

The next round of the Territory Labor Government's Multicultural Grants program is now open.

By providing support for multicultural communities, projects, festivals and events, the grants promote diversity and social cohesion right across the Territory.

Funding of $65,000 is available to deliver programs, events and activities that assist members of our culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) community to build capacity within community organisations and develop the Territory's social and cultural inclusivity.

Previous grant funding rounds have assisted the Cypriot community with its food and wine festival, the Filipino community to celebrate its Barrio Fiesta and the Indian community to host its India@Mindil extravaganza.

Others to have benefited include the Korean Association and the Nepalese and Japanese communities.

Applications can be made up until 30 September 2022 by visiting grantsnt.nt.gov.au here.
