Grants for purpose available now

Local organisations and not-for-profit groups are invited to apply for grants of up to $750 to host an event or festival that benefits the Bayside community. Events that celebrate our cultural diversity are particularly encouraged.

Community groups such as kindergartens, scout groups and community centres might consider running an event during NAIDOC Week from 7 - 14 July and there are some fabulous ideas on the NAIDOC week website You might consider inviting an Aboriginal representative to hold a smoking ceremony, or perhaps a session on bush food. Or you might like to run an art session with an Indigenous focus or a lunch to bring people together to talk about what reconciliation means locally.

Grants are open now until 12noon, Monday 24 June, 2019.
