Filipino-Australian artist Ben Tupas explores the concept of travel using curious objects that are viewed though a bi-cultural lens in his new work.
The celebration of multiculturalism was devised following Tupas's discovery of a collection of post-World War II era, shell-carved curios that were on sale in a Toowoomba antique store.
Tupas draws directly from the objects in his video storytelling to invite viewers to consider travel from a different perspective.
