The victim, a 33-year-old Sunnybank Hills man was transported to hospital in a serious but stable condition where he remains.

Police arrested a 28-year-old Runcorn man at a nearby residence soon after the incident.

He has been denied police bail and is due to appear in Richlands Magistrates Court today, Monday August 15, charged with one count of grievous bodily harm.
