Following the success of sold-out Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 sessions, the Griffith Business Playbook is returning with its next workshop designed to help local businesses strengthen their skills, capability and long-term resilience.
Delivered through a collaboration between Griffith City Council, Griffith Business Chamber and Griffith Women in Business, the free workshop series was developed in response to the Griffith Business Survey, which identified the key skills and support local businesses need to remain sustainable and competitive.
Chapter 3, Leading with the Customer Experience, will explore how businesses can create positive customer interactions that build loyalty, strengthen reputations and encourage repeat business.
The workshop will be facilitated by Tegan Summers from The Small Business Coach and will be held on Tuesday 15 September 2026, from 6pm to 8.30pm at Gem Function Centre Griffith.
Council's Economic Development Coordinator, Karly Sivewright said customer experience plays a vital role in the success of local businesses.
"Whether you are a retail, hospitality or service business, the experience you provide your customers can make a lasting impression," Ms Sivewright said.
"This workshop will provide practical strategies businesses can use to assess their current customer experience, identify opportunities for improvement and empower their teams to deliver great service every time."
Participants will explore:
- why customer experience begins before a customer ever walks through the door and continues after a sale
- how to assess customer experience and make meaningful improvements
- how to make operational decisions with customer service in mind
- ways to coach teams to provide consistent, memorable service
- how to turn complaints into opportunities to build customer loyalty.
Each chapter of the Griffith Business Playbook is designed to stand alone while also contributing to a complete practical toolkit for local businesses.
