Hallam Playground Renewal, Dog Park Consultation Open

Hallam residents are invited to help shape a planned renewal of the district playground at Glenburn Drive Reserve and to provide feedback to inform investigation of a proposed future dog park at Buckeye Drive Reserve, both located in Hallam.

The City of Casey is seeking input on both projects to ensure they reflect local needs and cater for the way residents want to use those spaces.

Mayor Cr Stefan Koomen said, "We know how important these local spaces are to our community - they're where families gather, children play and neighbours connect.

"That's why it's so important we hear directly from our local residents. Your feedback will help shape spaces that reflect how you want to use them, now and into the future.

"Whether it's creating a fun and inclusive playground or exploring a dedicated space for dog owners and their pets, this is about delivering places that bring people together and support a strong sense of community."

The playground upgrade at Glenburn Drive Reserve will see a new district-level playground installed that will better suit the growing community.

At the nearby Buckeye Drive Reserve, residents are invited to have their say on a proposed dog park, which is subject to further site analysis, feasibility assessments and community feedback before any commitment is made.
