Hasan Piker, the American Twitch streamer and Youtuber barred from Britain in June, is coming to Australia. Promoter Destroy All Lines has announced him as a featured guest at iSTREAM, a two-day creator convention at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 23 and 24 January 2027, where he will share a bill with TommyInnit, Pokimane and Abbie Chatfield. The event admits children of any age with a parent and teenagers from 15 on their own. Presale opens on 29 September and general tickets on 2 October, from $67.
Piker streams to millions as HasanAbi. He has said he would vote for Hamas over Israel, that it does not matter whether women were raped on October 7, that he has no issue with Hezbollah and that its flag is his favourite because 'it's got an AK on it', and that Hassan Nasrallah was 'a pretty brilliant person'. Last month he told his followers that American Jews who keep backing Israel should expect someone to come and take action against them. Britain cancelled his entry permit in June on the ground that his presence would not be conducive to the public good. Shadow Home Affairs Minister Jonathan Duniam has also called for him to be barred from Australia.
The Anti-Defamation Commission today called on the Minister for Home Affairs, Tony Burke, to refuse or cancel any visa for Piker under the character provisions of the Migration Act, the same provisions used to keep out Candace Owens, Kanye West and Sammy Yahood, and on Destroy All Lines to remove him from the iSTREAM lineup before presale opens.
Dr Dvir Abramovich, Chairman of the Anti-Defamation Commission, said:
"Keep Hasan Piker out of Australia. This is the Hamas cheerleader who calls the butchers of 1,200 people 'orphan children', boasts that he 'would vote for Hamas over Israel every single time' and broadcasts that message to millions of young followers.
Hamas raped women, and this was Hasan Piker's verdict, word for word: 'It doesn't matter if rapes happened on October 7, like that doesn't change the dynamic.' He said it about Israeli women. He said it on camera. He has never taken it back.
Hamas is only his first love. On Hezbollah, another listed terror group, he said: 'I don't have an issue with them.' Ask him his favourite flag and he will tell you: Hezbollah's, because 'it's got an AK on it'. Ask him about Hassan Nasrallah, the terror chief who fired rockets at Israeli children for thirty years, and he calls him 'a pretty brilliant person'.
Then he turned on the Jews of his own country. Keep backing Israel, he told his millions of followers, and 'eventually someone is going to come around and take action, not against the state of Israel, mind you, but against American Jews.' That is what a threat sounds like when it wears a smile. Shut up, Jews, or somebody gets hurt. We buried fifteen people at Bondi. We have learned the hard way what happens when sentences like that go unanswered. Let him say those things here and you have handed a megaphone to a man whose message is that Jews bring violence on themselves, in a country where antisemitism is spinning out of control. That is the definition of inciting discord, and the Minister has already ruled it is not welcome in Australia. The risk is plain: words like his give hatred against Jews a permission slip, and this country has seen where permission slips lead.
Britain has already slammed the door in his face. Now it's our turn. Minister Burke has written the rule book himself, banning Candace Owens, Kanye West and Sammy Yahood for spreading hate, and said it himself: 'Inciting discord might be the way some people make money, but it's not welcome in Australia.' Same rule. Same Minister. Same answer. Ban him.
And to Destroy All Lines: you have seven days before you start selling tickets to Australian teenagers to see this man. Use them. Take him off the bill, and tell the parents of Melbourne you did it yourselves.
Nine months after Bondi this country has had enough Jewish funerals. We are done taking chances. He says Hamas over Israel every single time. Then Australia over Piker every single time. Refuse the visa.
