Hawkesbury Community's Pool Party a great splash

The Hawkesbury community celebrated the end of summer at Council's pool party at Richmond Swimming Centre last Saturday, 27 February.

Along with free entry, fun diving competitions, limbo and dancing to the DJ music, kids had the chance to join in the free Motiv8sportHawkesbury sport sessions and the free PCYC activities.

Everyone had the chance to meet the Surf Life Saving NSW team and to find out about water safety, and children and adults alike were thrilled by the 'larger than life' lifeguards who danced around and entertained the crowd.

Adding to the summer fun atmosphere, all tickets holders also received a free hot dog or potato twist, ice cream and free pool toys.

This Council event was designed for the community to get together and celebrate summer. To provide your feedback about the event, complete the survey at www.surveymonkey.com/r/HawkesburyPoolParty2021
