Raptor Squad officers have charged a Hells Angels OMCG member for allegedly impersonating a former ADF soldier under Strike Force Benson.
Strike Force Benson was established in August 2025 by State Crime Command's Raptor Squad in response to ongoing criminal activity involving the Hells Angels OMCG.
During the investigation, detectives became aware of a 41-year-old man who had allegedly identified himself as being a former member of the Australian Defence Force.
Following inquiries, strike force detectives – with assistance from the Australian Defence Force – learned the man had no records of military service with any branch of the ADF.
About 3.40pm yesterday (Tuesday 21 April 2026) Raptor Squad arrested a 41-year-old man in Peelwood.
He was taken to Goulburn Police Station where he was charged with falsely representing to be returned soldier, sailor of airman.
The 41-year-old man was granted conditional bail to appear at Goulburn Local Court today (Wednesday 29 April 2026).
Strike Force Benson inquiries are ongoing.
