Mayor, Doug Batten says supporting Little Wings is an opportunity for the community to make a meaningful difference in the lives of local families.

"I encourage local community groups, schools and businesses to get involved and explore ways they can help continue this important service. Little Wings provides an incredible lifeline for families across our region. They ensure children can access vital medical treatment while keeping families connected and supported during what is often an extremely difficult time".

"The impact of this program is significant as it ensures timely access to pediatric specialists, reduces pressure on local services, and strengthens long‑term health outcomes for children in our community".

Little Wings CEO, Clare Pearson has proudly welcomed the engagement of the program in Gilgandra, saying:

"We are so proud to be partnered with the Gilgandra community to deliver a MEDICAL WINGS clinic, providing a paediatrician each month to support children with their medical needs and to take another step forward for regional health more broadly. The Medical Wings program provides all children with an opportunity to reach their full potential".
