Community members and professionals with expertise and a passion for local heritage are invited to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to join the Geelong Heritage Advisory Committee.
The advisory committee plays an important part in guiding the identification, protection, conservation and promotion of the region's heritage through advice and recommendations to Council.
It also enhances community awareness and advocacy, while identifying opportunities for funding, recognition and education.
The City is seeking EOIs from community members with diverse skills, experience and knowledge in heritage, museums, education or community advocacy to join the committee.
Successful members will be appointed for four years with an expectation to attend quarterly meetings.
EOIs are now open and will close on Sunday 30 August.
