Gunnedah Shire Council is inviting passionate community members to join our Australia Day Working Group!
We're looking for enthusiastic people of all ages who are keen to contribute ideas and be a valued part of creating a memorable day for our community.
As a member of the Working Group, you'll:
✅ attend monthly meetings and share your ideas, opinions, and feedback
✅ help shape meaningful and inclusive activities for the Shire
✅ play a hands-on role in coordinating events for Australia Day 2027.
How to get involved
Interested community members are required to submit a nomination form to be considered for the Working Group.
Whether you have event experience, are part of a community group or simply have a passion for community involvement, we encourage you to apply.
