We're giving one of the Peninsula's favourite trails a refresh and we'd love your help!
We received funding through the Victorian Government's Tiny Towns Grant to upgrade directional and interpretive signage along the Red Hill to Merricks Rail Trail.
This project will make it easier for you to explore the trail, find your way between points, and learn more about the local stories, cultural connections and natural beauty that make this stretch so special.
But before we start designing, we want to hear from the people who know the trail best: you.
Whether you're out there every weekend, take the kids for the occasional ride, or have always wanted to give it a go, your feedback will help guide what information appears on the new signs.
From distances and directions to local history, flora and fauna, and cultural stories, every idea helps shape a more connected, more enjoyable trail experience for everyone.
Your feedback will directly shape the signage upgrades, helping us create a trail experience that's easy to follow, rich in local stories, and uniquely Peninsula.
