VicScreen, Foxtel Group and Screen Australia are delighted to announce that the mystery thriller High Country is set to return for a new eight-part series.
Award-winning actor Leah Purcell AM returns as Sergeant Andie Whitford for the highly anticipated second season of High Country. Produced by Sony Pictures Television's Curio Pictures, season two will see Andie drawn into a case far bigger than she ever imagined.
The first season of High Country struck a chord with audiences across Australia and overseas, drawing strong audiences in the UK on BBC1 and in the US on Hulu.
Season two will once again be filmed in the magnificent Victorian high country of Jamieson, Mansfield, Eildon and greater Melbourne.

High Country will begin production in Victoria in November and will screen on FOXTEL and BINGE in 2026. Cast announcements will follow in the coming months.
