About 2.30pm, Police and Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) were notified of a fire in bushland along Roe Highway near Maida Vale Road.
The fire burnt through 10 hectares of native vegetation and bushland before it was extinguished.
The cause of the fire is being investigated, and Strike Force Vulcan officers' urge anyone with any information relating to this fire to contact Crime Stoppers online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au or by phone on 1800 333 000. Reports can be made anonymously.

Rewards of up to $25,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
