Home invasion, boy injured - Chester Hill

Police are investigating after a boy was injured in a home invasion at Chester Hill.

About 1.15am (Thursday 5 December 2019), four offenders in masks, one armed with a firearm, forced entry to a home on Campbell Hill Road.

They assaulted the 16-year-old male occupant, by striking him on the head with the firearm.

The men stole a sum of cash before fleeing the scene.

Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

The boy was taken to hospital for treatment to a small head wound.

Inquiries continue.
