About 11.55pm, police attended Koolama Street, where a man was located with serious injuries.
The 26-year-old woman was located at the scene by police and was arrested.
The man was conveyed to Kununurra Hospital, before then being flown via Royal Flying Doctor's Service to Royal Darwin Hospital in Northern Territory, where he was later declared deceased.
It will be alleged that the woman assaulted the man. It is believed the incident occurred minutes prior to police arrival.
Police believe the incident is family violence related.
It will be further alleged the woman breached protective bail conditions.
A 26-year-old woman from Wyndham has been charged with:
• 1 x Murder
• 1 x Breach of Protective Bail Conditions
She is due to appear before the Kununurra Magistrates Court on Monday 12 May 2025.
