Hot showers and power available to those impacted by power outages

As community members continue to be impacted by power outages following the storm event on Friday, Community Bank Stadium, 129-163 Main Hurstbridge Road, Diamond Creek will be open to those impacted residents who wish to access shower and power facilities. The facilities will be available free of charge to those still affected by the outages until power is restored in the coming days.

Opening times for the shower and change facility are as follows:

Today (Monday 1 November):

  • Available now through to 8pm

    Tuesday 2 November:

  • Morning session: 6.30am to 8.30am. Evening session: 6pm-8pm (power to charge devices will only be available during these hours)

    Subsequent days:

  • Morning sessions: 6.30am to 8.30am
  • Evening sessions: 6pm to 8pm
  • Power to charge devices will be available during business hours – except for Tuesday 2 November (see above).
  • Before heading in for a hot shower please ensure you bring your own towel and toiletries.

To ensure there will be enough hot water for everyone, please keep the length of your shower to a minimum.

The facility contains 3 female and 3 male shower cubicles each.

  • Children must be supervised at all times as per Victorian child safety requirements. Visitors are expected to stay within the area designated by staff.
