With the introduction of two years of funded kindergarten from 2022, we are proposing a new level in the way we allocate kindergarten registration priority on the Mornington Peninsula.
For 2022, we had more than 2000 kindergarten places available including 1300 places for 4 year old's and over 800 places for 3 year old's.
We want your input on how we allocate places for children registering for the same kindergarten service the following year.
The proposed changes will help provide continuity of learning for children, support social and emotional development and provide opportunities to strengthen community connections for families.
Your feedback will help to inform the 2023 priority of access/allocation criteria.
