As one of the highlights on Hume City Council's Christmas calendar, Carols by Candlelight will once again light up Craigieburn's Anzac Park on Saturday 6 December from 5pm.
All your Christmas favourites will be jingling their way across the stage, this year hosted by legendary Australian entertainer Rhonda Burchmore.
With more than 40 years in the industry under her belt, and a regular at Australia's biggest carols events since the 1990s, Burchmore is as Christmas as mistletoe and, unlike Melbourne's weather, she consistently shines bright.
Joining her on stage will be a host of recognisable and local favourites, including AYDAN, DanceXclusive, Divine Divas Show Choir, Eamonn Conor, Emily Daye, Rance Lazarus and Willmott Park Primary School Choir and Ukelele Group. Musical director and performer Garth Ploog will lead a nine-piece band, working in collaboration with this year's lineup of performers to bring the music to life.
Hume's Carols are all ages, smoking and alcohol free.
There's plenty to enjoy in Hume in the lead up to Christmas, including DIY Christmas Crafting, Christmas Storytime at our Libraries, gingerbread making, letters to Santa and more.
This year we'll be hosting a local neighbourhood event in Westmeadows Reserve on Friday 12 December from 6pm. Come join local Hume resident and MC superstar, Steve Tabone and a selection of talented performers, free face painting and Christmas themed arts and crafts.
And for a little extra Christmas cheer, there are a range of activities and online giveaways throughout the festive season.
