ICAC Reopens Operation Landan Inquiry Into School Allegations

ICAC

The NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) will reopen its Operation Landan public inquiry for one day on Friday 19 December 2025 at 10:00 am.

The public inquiry is part of an investigation the ICAC is conducting into allegations concerning former School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) chief executive Anthony Manning, staff and contractors. Further information about Operation Landan can be found here.

It will be reopened following the request of witness Martin Berry, who has applied and been granted permission to put further material before the Commission, in accordance with the Commission's Public Inquiry Procedural Guidelines. This will allow Mr Berry the opportunity to give further evidence relevant to the matters under investigation.

Mr Berry will be the only witness at the inquiry, which will specifically examine his understanding and involvement in the Investment Assurance Services engagement with SINSW in 2017, including his availability and capacity to undertake work; and other issues that may arise, which may assist with the Commission's investigation.

Commissioner Paul Lakatos SC is presiding at the public inquiry, and Counsel Assisting the Commission is Mr Jamie Darams SC and Mr Dan Fuller of Counsel.
