ILO, Spanish Universities Boost Cooperation on Labour Rights

The Association of University Centers for Labor Relations and Labor Sciences (ARELCIT) and the ILO have signed a collaboration agreement aimed at developing research projects and promoting training and outreach activities in support of labour rights, decent work, and social justice in Spain.

ARELCIT is a private association of general interest whose main functions are the defense and promotion of labour relations and labour sciences; the dissemination of labour relations studies to various public and private institutions; and the establishment of channels of cooperation that contribute to improving the quality of teaching and research in labour sciences.

The agreement reached constitutes a collaborative tool for disseminating the work and reports of the ILO and promoting the decent work agenda in Spain through the university and academic world, in particular through the University Centers for Labor Relations and Labor Sciences.
