Image released in animal cruelty investigation

Police are investigating after two videos were uploaded to a social media app depicting animal cruelty.

A member of the public attended Horsham Police Station and showed police two videos showing a cat being injured.

It's not known when or where the videos were filmed however they were uploaded to social media on 27 February, 2021.

Police have interviewed a 19-year-old man in relation to one of the videos.

The Horsham man is expected to be charged on summons with cruelty to an animal.

However they are yet to identify a different man, who is depicted in the second video.

Investigators have released an image of a man they believe can assist with their enquiries.
