Police are appealing for assistance to identify two men who may be able to assist with inquiries following two seperate assaults in Auburn.
The first incident occurred at about 6pm on Thursday 13 November 2025, when a 26-year-old passenger was assaulted by a man while waiting to use the toilet at Auburn Railway Station.
The 26-year-old sustained a hand injury.
The man was seen to enter Auburn Railway Station via Rawson Street prior to the assault and left in the same direction via Rawson Street.
The second incident occurred about 9am on Saturday 29 November 2025, when emergency services received a report of an assault, which occurred outside Auburn Railway Station.
Police were told a man assaulted a 24-year-old woman while she was leaving the train station.
Officers attached to Police Transport Command North West Sector have commenced inquiries into both incidents and have released images of two men who may be able to assist with inquiries.
The first man is described as being of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean appearance, aged between 18 and 25, of medium build, about 185cm tall, black hair and black beard/moustache. He was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt with a "Spiderman" motif on the front, a grey scarf and white sneakers.
The second man is described as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander appearance, aged between 40 and 50, of medium build, with a grey beard. He was last seen wearing a grey beanie, grey zip-up hoodie, black track pants, and grey shoes.
