Industry Participation Register for Davis Aerodrome Project now open 2 June 2021

Australian Antarctic Division

The Davis Aerodrome Project is encouraging businesses who specialise in supplying goods and services for cold climate operations to express their interest in being involved in the Antarctic project, on the Industry Participation Register.

Davis Aerodrome Project Manager, Stu Gibson, said the register is an opportunity for local and national businesses to get involved with the project.

"Currently, an Expressions of Interest process is underway, with phase two due to commence shortly. A Request for Proposal (RFP) stage is expected to begin later this year, with a successful proponent selected thereafter.

"This register provides businesses with an opportunity to connect with the Alliance - the potential project delivery partner- during the RFP phase. This register will be provided to the Alliance for potential future engagement on the project." Mr Gibson said.

In 2020, the Commonwealth Government announced its procurement approach for an Antarctic aerodrome near Davis station, if approved.
