Inquiries after aggravated robbery of a man at Toongabbie

Police are searching for two men following an alleged aggravated robbery of a man in Toongabbie this morning.

About 5.50am (Monday 9 December 2019), a man was on Targo Road, when he was approached by two men in an alleged stolen black Volkswagon Golf.

Police were told the two men struck the 41-year-old man on the leg with a piece of wood before stealing his bag.

The men were described as being Caucasian and black hair. They were wearing black face masks at the time of the incident.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about the incident or the whereabouts of the men or the vehicle is urged to contact Cumberland Police Area Command on (02) 9897 4199.
