Insurers will visit Clifton this week weeks to meet with customers impacted by severe weather and hailstorm that impacted the community and surrounds in early November.
Hosted by the Insurance Council of Australia (ICA), the insurance hubs will provide insurance customers with the opportunity to meet one-on-one with representatives from several insurers, giving locals an additional avenue to discuss their claim.
General information on the claims process, dispute resolution, and other useful insurance-related information to assist with the claims and recovery process will also be available.
Details of the hubs are below:
Date: Thursday 20 and Friday 21 November
Location: Senior Citizens Centre
Hours: 10am to 4pm
Customers may attend at their convenience without the need for prior appointment.
Quotes attributable to ICA Director of Mitigation and Extreme Weather Response, Liam Walter:
We know that the recovery process can be a challenging time for those impacted by severe weather, and insurers are committed to making the claims process as smooth as possible to help those impacted in Clifton and surrounding areas get back on their feet.
Having access to in-person information and access to insurer representatives can make the claims process simpler for impacted customers and we encourage anyone with queries to come along.
