Camden will welcome yet another internationally acclaimed singer, with Alfio Bonanno to perform at Camden Civic Centre next month.

The two-time Emmy nominated recording tenor, artist, singer, pianist, composer and entertainer has returned to Australia after a 13-year career in New York and is looking forward to performing for his local fans.

"I am always looking forward to upcoming concerts, but this time I am especially excited about meeting new people and connecting with them through music and entertainment," Mr Bonanno said.

"I feel like I have done enough overseas for now and I am more than happy to stay home with my family around me.

"The upcoming show will be a mixture of old and new, but it's not just about the songs, the human factor is so much more important and connecting with each and every person in the room is what I love to do."

Alfio's musical style can be best described as a fusion of Michael Bublé and Andrea Bocelli, while his song writing prowess has garnered him with a top ten position on the ARIA charts during his time with Warner Music Australia.

Mayor of Camden, Cr Therese Fedeli, said it was exciting for the community to welcome another impressive artist.

"Camden Civic Centre continues to work hard in securing fantastic performances and artists for our locals and Alfio Bonanno is second to none in his field," Cr Fedeli said.

"Alfio has had a very successful career in the USA and it is fantastic to have him come out to entertain the crowd in Camden."

Alfio - The Voice in Camden will take place on Saturday 29 October at Camden Civic Centre.
