An exciting opportunity is available to join Volunteering WA as a Marketing and Communications Intern.
Are you looking to develop your marketing and communications experience and build a portfolio?
Volunteering WA is the peak body for volunteering in Western Australia. We work with more than 800 member organisations across community, government, corporate and education sectors, supporting them to build strong, sustainable volunteer programs.
We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic intern who can contribute to the team's day-to-day marketing and communications operations. This is for someone who loves great content and wants to gain experience while doing something meaningful.
At Volunteering WA, we care deeply about supporting the volunteering sector and encouraging people to experience volunteering for themselves. So not only will you get to flex your creativity, but you'll also know that you're making a positive impact for volunteers and volunteer-involving organisations across Western Australia. Some days you'll be promoting Volunteering WA and our programs, events and projects; other days you'll be helping tell the stories of incredible organisations you may already know, like Good Sammy or RSPCA.
This is an unpaid voluntary position with a minimum six-week placement, designed to give you time to learn the ropes and add to your portfolio.
Time commitment: one day per week (5 hours). We would like to build a role that fits around your life, work, and study commitments, so please speak to us about flexibility.
