Investigators release CCTV images after woman assaulted in Sydney CBD

Police have released CCTV images in an appeal for public assistance after a woman was allegedly assaulted in a food outlet in Sydney's CBD last weekend.

About 2.30am (Sunday 10 March 2019), a couple inside a food outlet on George Street, Sydney, got into a verbal altercation with two unknown men.

Police have been told the altercation escalated and the 18-year-old woman was allegedly punched in the face by one of the men.

Both men then left the arcade.

Following treatment, the woman was diagnosed with a fractured nose.

Officers from Sydney City Police Area Command are appealing for information and have released CCTV images of two men who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

The first man is described as Caucasian in appearance, 20 to 25 years old, 178 cm tall, bald, with a moustache, an average build, and tattoos on both arms.

He was wearing a black and white button up short sleeved shirt, blue jeans, white shoes and a watch.

The second man is described as Caucasian in appearance, 20 to 25 years old, 185 cm tall, short dark hair with the sides and back shaved, a dark coloured beard, and an average build.

He was wearing a white button up long-sleeved shirt, black pants and brown shoes.
