Territory Labor promised toreinstate 164 teacher positions slashed by the CLP. We are delivering.

Under the CLP, $135 millionwas cut from the education budget, resulting in the loss of 500 teachers andsupport staff. As a teacher at that time, I saw firsthand the devastating impactthose funding cuts had, not just on staff but on children and young people.

We know that investing in educationbrings more jobs and creates stronger and safer communities in the NorthernTerritory.

But we know we cannot achievethis change without our dedicated teachers. 138 extra teachers in the NT will makea big difference in young lives.
